2019 New Years...New Me before New Year
As I reflect back on this year, 2018... I believe I, as well as others, have been bombarded with the saying of "live your best life." This has been a growing theme and what I observe to be an evolution of YOLO (you only live once). Well, from this moment back until the use of YOLO, I have yet to live my best life. LOL, I know, I have tried and failed many times. Reaching and trying to push my self to "live my best life." So I decided to really analyze what it would take to reach the altruistic point. I am a lucky woman to have people around me to run these overly involved thoughts by. In speaking with one of my mentors, I asked him what it meant to him to live his best life. How would he know when he was doing it. Well in his typical Mr. Miyagi way, he says "Tee, first, you have to understand what makes up life..."
